Integration and Reintegration
Over the past three years, a series of images and abstract symbols have taken root in my mind. I have been working on a project to bring them into some sort of sequence.
To me, the image sequence speaks to the monolithic psyche that is rigid and has only one viewpoint.
As the ego becomes more relativized, it is seen in a wider context and other aspects of the psyche can be acknowledged and even seen as on the same plane as the ego.
This new constellation can be seen with an even wider perspective as something engaging with the wider world, and the richness of this complex can fertilize new soil, which then in turn, grows new structures.
