Go where you grow…

Go where you grow. 🔀 Grow where you go.

2020-2021 was all about going to new places where I would grow. I’ve been thinking a lot about growing where I am right now.

While I am always “going” somewhere new, I want to also grow wherever I go. “Going” (or doing), is only valuable if you are “growing” (or being).

I look at this image of three swords piercing the heart. The eye, a symbol of sight and clarity, is living in the heart-or the space of feelings and emotions. The eye sheds tears of blood, tears not only of water-but with ladened with emotion, onto the ground so that a flower might bloom.

The image brings up the idea of the cycle of life, or the pain and death that is needed to spring new life.

Without the swords piercing the heart, there would be only a desolate and rocky waste-land for the eye to see and feel into.
